Fitokosmetik Narodnye Retsepty Pink Altai Clay 155ml is a cosmetic ready-to-use clay mask for the face, body and hair, formulated with natural pink Altai clay as the principal mineral cosmetic active, in a liquid base with green tea infusion (Camellia sinensis leaf water) and sunflower leaf water (Helianthus annuus). Pink Altai clay is a natural mineral-rich clay from the Altai mountain region of Russia, distinguished by its soft pink colouration which reflects its mineral trace element composition. Clay minerals in cosmetic preparations provide a range of skin care benefits: adsorption of excess sebum and surface impurities; gentle exfoliation of dead skin cells from the surface; a tightening and smoothing sensation on the skin surface; and a pleasant refreshing, cooling sensation after removal. For the face, the clay mask cleanses, softens and refreshes the skin, contributing to a smoother appearance. For the body, it contributes to skin conditioning and a refreshed, toned-looking skin surface. For the hair, it contributes to scalp cleansing and nourishing. Rich in mineral trace elements. 155 ml.

INGREDIENTS (INCI): Aqua, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water (Green Tea Infusion), Helianthus Annuus Leaf Water, Pink Clay (Kaolin / mineral clay complex), other ingredients (see product label for full INCI list).
USE: Mix the clay in a non-metal bowl to a sour-cream consistency (the product may already be in ready-to-use liquid form). Apply to the skin. Leave as a mask for 5–15 minutes; as a body wrap (covered with film) for 20–30 minutes. Rinse with water.

People usually choose this type of clay treatment when they want a deeper cleanse than a regular wash, but still prefer something gentle enough for skin that can feel tight after stronger purifying masks. Pink clay is valued for its softer touch compared with more intensive clays, so it suits moments when the skin or scalp needs freshness, a smoother feel and less surface oil.
Key Ingredients
The main active is Pink Altai clay, a mineral clay complex rich in trace elements. In simple terms, clay works like a fine absorbent powder suspended in a mask base: it helps lift away excess sebum, residue and surface impurities as it dries, while also giving mild exfoliation when rinsed off. This can leave the skin looking cleaner and more even.
The formula also contains green tea infusion and sunflower leaf water. Green tea is widely used in cosmetics for its antioxidant polyphenols, which help protect the formula from feeling too harsh on the skin and add a fresh, light character. Sunflower leaf water contributes to the aqueous base of the formula, complementing the botanical profile of the mask. After rinsing, follow with a moisturising cream, body lotion or hair conditioner, as clay can leave a very clean, slightly taut after-feel.

Face: Apply a thin, even layer to clean, damp skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 8–12 minutes, or until the mask begins to feel tight but has not fully hardened — rinse sooner if your skin tends to feel tight or reactive. Pink clay is gentler than green or bentonite clays, but it still draws moisture as it dries. Rinse with lukewarm water using gentle circular motions for a mild physical exfoliation effect. Pat dry and immediately apply a moisturiser suited to your skin type.
Face: For combination or oily-prone skin, once or twice a week is typical. If your skin leans normal-to-dry or feels tight after cleansing, start with once every 7–10 days and observe how it responds. Pink clay is milder than deeper-cleansing clays, but it still absorbs surface lipids; overuse can compromise the barrier and trigger rebound oiliness.
The mask's cleansing action comes from Pink Altai clay absorbing excess sebum, sunscreen residue, and environmental particulates as it dries. This leaves the skin or scalp very clean — sometimes described as "squeaky" — which means the natural lipid film has been temporarily reduced. If you skip the follow-up step, transepidermal water loss increases and the tight sensation lingers.
Pink Altai clay is generally considered one of the milder cosmetic clays because it contains a balanced mix of kaolinite and illite minerals with lower drawing power than green clay or bentonite. The formula also includes green tea infusion (polyphenols) and sunflower leaf water, which are commonly used to soothe and buffer potential irritation.
