Pink Altai clay is a natural mineral-rich clay from the Altai mountain region of Russia, distinguished by its soft pink colouration which reflects its mineral trace element composition. Clay minerals in cosmetic preparations provide a range of skin care benefits: adsorption of excess sebum and surface impurities; gentle exfoliation of dead skin cells from the surface; a tightening and smoothing sensation on the skin surface; and a pleasant refreshing, cooling sensation after removal. For the face, the clay mask cleanses, softens and refreshes the skin, contributing to a smoother appearance. INGREDIENTS (INCI): Aqua, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water (Green Tea Infusion), Helianthus Annuus Leaf Water, Pink Clay (Kaolin / mineral clay complex), other ingredients (see product label for full INCI list).
USE: Mix the clay in a non-metal bowl to a sour-cream consistency (the product may already be in ready-to-use liquid form). Apply to the skin. Leave as a mask for 5–15 minutes; as a body wrap (covered with film) for 20–30 minutes. Rinse with water.
