Face: Apply a thin, even layer to clean, damp skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 8–12 minutes, or until the mask begins to feel tight but has not fully hardened — rinse sooner if your skin tends to feel tight or reactive. Pink clay is gentler than green or bentonite clays, but it still draws moisture as it dries. Rinse with lukewarm water using gentle circular motions for a mild physical exfoliation effect. Pat dry and immediately apply a moisturiser suited to your skin type.
Body: Spread a slightly thicker layer on target areas (e.g., back, décolleté, thighs) before showering. You can leave it on for 10–15 minutes while you complete other steps in your routine. Rinse thoroughly in the shower; a soft body brush or washcloth helps remove residue and enhances the smoothing effect. Follow with a body lotion or oil while skin is still damp.
Scalp and hair roots: Part dry or damp hair and apply the mask directly to the scalp using the nozzle or a brush, focusing on roots and areas with product buildup or excess oil. Avoid the lengths and ends if your hair is dry, bleached, or fragile — clay can be drying on porous strands. Leave on for 5–10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly before shampooing as usual. Follow with conditioner on the mid-lengths and ends only.
Across all three uses, the key rule is: do not let the mask fully over-dry, especially on sensitive skin. A slight tightening sensation is normal; discomfort or cracking means it's time to rinse.
