I have sensitive skin or allergies — can I still use this mask?

Tulsi (holy basil) belongs to the Lamiaceae — the mint family — so if you know you react to plants like mint, lavender, sage, or basil, patch testing first is a sensible step. Mix a small amount of the paste and apply it to a small area on your inner forearm or behind the ear. Wait 24 hours and check for any redness, itching, or discomfort before using it on your face or scalp.

Even without a known allergy, this is a concentrated plant powder, so introduce it gently. Do not use it on irritated, damaged, or broken skin, and keep it away from the eye area. If you feel any discomfort during use, rinse it off immediately and stop using it.

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a chronic skin condition, or are on medication, consult a specialist before using this product. It is a cosmetic care product for cleansing and comfort — it is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease.
