How should I use this gel-balm for stiff knees, back, shoulders or calves?

Use it on areas that feel overworked, stiff or tense after training, long hours at a desk, a long drive, gardening, walking or physical work — or in colder weather when muscles feel stiff. It is suitable for joint areas and for muscle zones that benefit from a warming self-massage.

  1. Start with clean, dry skin. Make sure the area is free of obvious cuts, rashes or irritation.
  2. Take a small amount. A small fingertip-sized portion is enough for one local area such as a knee or shoulder; adjust slightly for larger areas like the back or calves.
  3. Massage gently. Work the gel into the skin with slow, circular movements until it is absorbed. The cold-to-warm sensation usually appears within a minute or two.
  4. Wait before stretching. If you use it before gentle stretching, give the warmth a moment to develop, then stretch slowly and without forcing a painful position.
  5. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after application. This keeps the gel away from your eyes or mouth.

Do not apply the gel to broken skin or damaged skin, and keep it away from mucous membranes. If this is your first time using a warming-cooling product of this type, do a patch test first: apply a small amount to the inner forearm, wait, and check for strong redness, itching or discomfort before using it elsewhere. The gel is for external use only.
