Derevo Zhizni (Tree of Life) Linseed Porridge with Raisins and Sesame is a nutritious ready-to-prepare food from the Derevo Zhizni range, made from golden or brown flaxseed (linseed, Linum usitatissimum) as the base grain, enriched with raisins and sesame seeds. Flaxseed is one of the most nutrient-dense plant seeds available — it is exceptionally rich in omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), dietary fibre (both soluble and insoluble), lignans (plant polyphenols) and a complete protein profile. Raisins (dried grapes) contribute natural sweetness, iron, potassium and phenolic antioxidants; they also provide soluble dietary fibre for digestive health. Sesame seeds (Sesamum indicum) provide sesamin and sesamolin lignans, calcium, magnesium, zinc and healthy unsaturated fats including oleic and linoleic acids. The combination creates a satisfying, flavourful whole-food porridge with a full nutritional profile, suitable for a wholesome breakfast or a nutritious snack.
