About chaga

Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a bracket fungus that grows on birch trees in northern forests. For centuries it was gathered in Siberia and Northern Europe and brewed into a dark forest drink. Today chaga is back as a modern "superfood" and an adaptogen-style ingredient of Nordic cuisine. Powder is the most convenient format: it is easy to dose with a spoon and stir into drinks without long brewing.

How to use it

For adults — 1–2 teaspoons a day, stirred into warm (not boiling) water, coffee or a smoothie. The result is a rich dark drink with a mild earthy taste — the base for a "mushroom coffee" or a morning ritual. Do not exceed the recommended daily amount.
