The main ingredient, glucosamine, is a building block used by the body in the structures that help joints move smoothly. It is paired with chondroitin, which is naturally found in cartilage and is valued in supplements for its role in helping cartilage retain water and elasticity. MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) provides sulfur, a mineral involved in the formation of connective tissue.
