Propolis, or bee glue, is a resinous substance that bees use to protect and disinfect the hive. That is why it has long been valued in natural products for seasonal support of the body.
The composition uses propolis extract standardized to 3% polyphenols. Polyphenols are active plant and natural compounds with antioxidant potential. In scientific publications, propolis is studied because of its content of flavonoids, phenolic acids and other bioactive substances, which are associated with supporting the body’s natural defence mechanisms.
