Mono Love Bio Grapefruit Curacao Salt Scrub-Sorbet is a cosmetic body exfoliating scrub combining Himalayan pink salt with grapefruit extract and vitamin E as the principal actives. Himalayan pink salt is a mineral-rich crystalline salt mined from the Punjab region of Pakistan, containing trace amounts of iron oxide (giving its characteristic pink hue), magnesium, potassium and other minerals; in cosmetics it provides mechanical exfoliation of the stratum corneum and contributes mineral elements to the skin surface. Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) extract provides a concentrated source of bioflavonoids (naringenin, hesperidin) and vitamin C, valued in cosmetics for their antioxidant properties and ability to contribute to a fresh, toned and brightened skin appearance. Vitamin E (tocopherol) conditions and nourishes the skin after exfoliation, contributing to a soft and smooth skin feel. The "Curacao" element suggests bitter orange (Citrus aurantium) peel oil, adding to the fresh citrus aromatic profile. The light, creamy texture of the sorbet melts on contact with wet skin for a comfortable exfoliation experience.
