Medikomed Lotus Aromatic Oil is a cosmetic aromatic oil preparation with the scent of lotus flower, for use in aromatherapy baths, foot and hand baths, and as an aromatic enrichment for ready-made cosmetics. Lotus is one of the most revered flowers in Eastern cultures, with a rich symbolic history and a distinctive, delicate floral and faintly sweet aromatic profile. The oil carries the characteristic lotus fragrance as an aromatic cosmetic preparation. In cosmetics, this type of aromatic oil is used as a fragrance and sensory enrichment component — added to bath water, foot bath preparations or cosmetic products such as creams, body lotions, shampoos and shower gels.

Medikomed Lotus Aromatic Oil is a cosmetic aromatic oil chosen mainly for its fragrance effect rather than for active skin treatment. Its lotus-inspired scent is soft, floral and slightly sweet, so it works well when you want bath water or finished cosmetics to feel more refined and soothing. People often use this type of product to add a more atmospheric note to an evening bath, a hand or foot soak, or to give an unscented cream, lotion or shower product a delicate floral accent.
How does it work? Mostly through the sensory side of use. Fragrance molecules evaporate from warm water or from the cosmetic base and are perceived through smell, which can influence how a product feels during use. In a bath, the aroma spreads with the steam and helps create a calmer mood. In creams, shampoos or shower gels, lotus aromatic oil acts as a perfuming addition that changes the experience without changing the core function of the product itself. This is why such oils are often used in aromatherapy-style rituals at home: not as medicine, but as a way to make ordinary cosmetic use more pleasant.
Lotus has a long cultural history in Eastern traditions, where the flower is associated with purity, balance and quiet elegance. That background helps explain why lotus remains a popular note in body cosmetics and aromatic oils today. The 10 ml format is concentrated, so only a small amount is needed when adding it to bath water or to a ready-made cosmetic product. This makes it practical for people who enjoy personalising unscented or lightly scented formulas with a floral profile.
This cosmetic aromatic oil may suit someone who enjoys home spa-style use, relaxing baths, or small fragrance touches in body products. It is especially convenient when you want variety without buying several different scented cosmetics. Because it is concentrated, it should always be diluted before skin contact. Avoid the eye area and mucous membranes, and if your skin is reactive or you are prone to fragrance sensitivity, it is sensible to patch test before wider use.
