ICONFIT Whey Protein 80 Unflavoured 1 kg is a clean, high-quality whey protein powder from ICONFIT (Estonia), manufactured from premium-grade whey protein concentrate (WPC-80) with approximately 80% protein content per 100 g of dry powder. The product uses whey protein concentrate selected for its excellent solubility, absence of clumping and mild, neutral flavour — making the unflavoured variant ideal for mixing into any food or drink without altering taste: smoothies, porridge, yoghurt, baked goods or simply with water or milk. Whey protein contains a complete amino acid profile with naturally high levels of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs: leucine, isoleucine and valine), making it one of the most studied and widely used protein sources in sports nutrition. Protein contributes to the growth in muscle mass; protein contributes to the maintenance of muscle mass (EU authorised health claims — Regulation (EC) No 432/2012). No unnecessary colourings, stabilisers or fillers. Available unsweetened or sweetened with sucralose or stevia. 1 kg.

What Is ICONFIT Whey Protein 80 Unflavoured?
ICONFIT Whey Protein 80 Unflavoured 1 kg is a whey protein powder made from WPC-80, a whey protein concentrate with about 80% protein. People usually choose this kind of sports nutrition when they want a practical way to increase protein intake around training, during a busy workday, or when regular meals do not provide enough. The unflavoured version is especially versatile: it blends into smoothies, porridge, yoghurt or baking without adding sweetness or a strong taste.
Amino Acids and Protein Quality
Whey protein naturally contains all essential amino acids, including a high amount of BCAAs:
- Leucine
- Isoleucine
- Valine
Amino acids are the building blocks the body uses to repair and build muscle proteins after physical effort. Whey is also known for being well digested and quickly absorbed compared with many heavier protein sources, which is why it is widely used after exercise or between meals. The authorised nutrition claim for protein is straightforward: it contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.
Simple Composition and Versatile Use
What makes ICONFIT Whey Protein 80 Unflavoured 1 kg appealing is its simple composition. It is based on whey protein concentrate rather than a blend with many additives, and it does not rely on colourings or stabilisers. Because the flavour is neutral, it fits into both sweet and savoury recipes more easily than flavoured protein products, and it lets you control the final taste yourself.
Who Can Use It and Important Notes
This protein powder can suit a wide range of people:
- Active people and those returning to the gym
- Recreational runners and cyclists
- Anyone who wants an easy protein boost in a post-workout shake or a more filling breakfast
- Those with higher physical load or low appetite but ongoing protein needs
Important: This product contains milk. People with a cow's milk allergy should avoid it. Those with lactose intolerance may want individual advice before use.

Customer Questions
Because this whey protein concentrate has a neutral flavour, it works in both sweet and savoury preparations. Stir 20–30 g into porridge or overnight oats after cooking (high heat can make the texture grainy), blend into smoothies with fruit and nut butter, or mix into Greek yoghurt with a drizzle of honey. For baking, replace roughly 10–15 % of the flour weight with protein powder in pancakes, muffins or banana bread; you may need a touch more liquid because whey absorbs moisture. In savoury cooking, whisk a spoonful into a warm (not boiling) soup, pasta sauce or mashed vegetables for a protein boost — the mild milky note disappears once combined with herbs, garlic or cheese. Avoid prolonged boiling, which can cause clumping. Start with smaller amounts to learn how the texture changes in each recipe.
ICONFIT Whey Protein 80 is made from whey protein concentrate (WPC-80), which retains the natural lactose found in whey — typically 3–5 g per 100 g of powder. If you have a diagnosed cow's milk allergy, you must avoid this product entirely because it contains milk proteins (both whey and trace casein) that trigger allergic reactions. For lactose intolerance, tolerance varies: many people can handle small portions spread through the day, especially when taken with other foods that slow digestion. If you are unsure, try a half serving (10–15 g) with a meal and monitor symptoms, or consult a dietitian or doctor for personalised guidance. Lactose-free alternatives (whey isolate, plant proteins) exist if this product causes discomfort.
Whey protein concentrate 80 % (WPC-80) is produced by filtering liquid whey to remove most fat and lactose while keeping the protein fraction. The result is roughly 80 g protein per 100 g powder, with the remainder being moisture, residual lactose, minerals and a small amount of fat. Unlike whey isolate (typically 90 %+ protein, lower lactose) or casein (slow-digesting), WPC-80 offers a balance of cost, taste neutrality and rapid absorption. Whey naturally contains all nine essential amino acids and is particularly rich in branched-chain amino acids — leucine, isoleucine and valine — which are key triggers for muscle protein synthesis after exercise. The authorised nutrition claim states that protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass. Because it digests quickly, WPC-80 is commonly used after training or between meals when a fast amino acid supply is desired; casein or whole-food proteins are better suited for sustained release (e.g., before bed).
