"Maslyany Korol" (Oil King) Cold-Pressed Hemp Oil is a cold-pressed, unrefined and non-deodorised culinary oil produced from the seeds of industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa L., certified food-grade varieties with ≤0.2% THC). Cold-pressing without refining or deodorisation preserves the full spectrum of natural tocopherols (vitamin E), the characteristic greenish colour of the oil (from chlorophyll and carotenoid pigments), and the delicate, nutty, slightly peppery flavour notes of hemp seed oil — qualities that would be partially lost during the thermal and chemical refining processes used for commodity edible oils.
Hemp seed oil is distinguished by an exceptionally well-balanced omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acid ratio of approximately 3:1, closely matching the ratio widely considered optimal for human dietary needs. The oil contains linoleic acid (LA, omega-6, approx. 55–60%) and alpha-linolenic acid (ALA, omega-3, approx. 15–20%) as its principal polyunsaturated fatty acids. ALA contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels — this beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 2 g of ALA (EU Regulation 432/2012). Hemp seed oil also contains gamma-linolenic acid (GLA, omega-6), an uncommon fatty acid in edible oils, as well as stearidonic acid (SDA, omega-3), oleic acid (omega-9), natural tocopherols, phytosterols, and trace amounts of cannabidiol (CBD) and other phytocannabinoids inherent to the seed. The 100 ml bottle is practical for cold culinary use.
