What is this instant porridge?
ELEO hemp instant porridge with apple and chia seeds is a quick breakfast option for people who want something warm and filling without a long cooking process. This Eleo instant porridge combines cereals with hemp seeds, apple and chia seeds, so the texture is more interesting than plain porridge and the taste has a mild fruit note.
Key components and how they work
Its main idea is simple: grains provide the familiar soft base, while hemp and chia add more substance.
- Hemp seeds are valued in healthy food products for their naturally occurring fats and plant protein.
- Chia seeds are known for their ability to absorb water and form a soft gel, which helps give porridge a thicker, more satisfying consistency.
- Apple brings light sweetness and a fresher taste, making the mix easier to enjoy even when you want a fast meal with no extra ingredients.
When and how to enjoy it
What makes this product practical is the format. As an instant porridge, it fits mornings when there is little time, a work break, travel, or an easy evening meal when you want something simple. You only add hot water, wait a few minutes, and the mixture becomes spoonable and ready to eat.
It can also work as a base. Some people add:
- Berries
- Nuts
- Yogurt
- A little cinnamon
Recipe and important notes
The recipe is also straightforward, with no preservatives, artificial flavourings, colourants or flavour enhancers listed. That makes ELEO hemp instant porridge with apple and chia seeds a good match for those looking for a convenient pantry product with recognizable ingredients rather than an overly complex breakfast mix.
If you are sensitive to any of the ingredients, check the composition before use. If this is your first time trying hemp or chia in porridge, start with a small portion and see how it suits you.

Customer Questions
The inclusion of chia seeds is a key functional component of this instant porridge, directly influencing both its texture and preparation method. Chia seeds are known for their high hydrophilic properties, meaning they can absorb significant amounts of liquid relative to their weight. When you add hot water to the ELEO hemp instant porridge, these seeds begin to absorb the moisture and form a soft gel. This process helps thicken the mixture, giving the porridge a more substantial and satisfying consistency than a standard grain-based breakfast.
The flavor profile of this porridge is designed to be mild and naturally sweet, primarily driven by the inclusion of apple. The apple pieces provide a light sweetness and a fresher taste contrast to the earthy notes of the hemp seeds and the neutral base of the cereals. This combination makes the mix easier to enjoy without the need for additional sweeteners or toppings, although you are free to customize it with berries, nuts, or cinnamon if desired.
