Medikomed Heel Cream 75ml is a cosmetic foot care cream from OOO HPF Medikomed (Russia), specially formulated for the intensive care and maintenance of the thick, dry and callus-prone skin of the heels and soles of the feet. The cream's principal cosmetic active is hydroxyethyl urea (a modified form of urea) — a potent cosmetic humectant and natural moisturising factor (NMF) analogue that regulates the water balance in the skin cells, contributes to the cosmetic softening and smoothing of hardened, rough skin, and supports the natural exfoliation of the outer cornified skin layer. The cream intensively moisturises, softens and helps restore the natural softness and elasticity of the foot skin with regular use. With regular application, the cream helps to maintain smooth, soft foot skin and reduce the appearance of hard skin, calluses and roughness. Leaves a thin protective barrier on the skin surface that helps to prevent moisture loss. The cream is light and quickly absorbed. Apply to clean, damp foot skin with light massaging movements. 75 ml.

Customer Questions
What is the difference between this heel cream and a regular body lotion?
Regular body lotions are usually formulated for the thinner skin on the arms and legs. The skin on the heels is naturally thicker, less flexible, and tends to lose moisture faster, so a generic lotion may feel fine at first but not change the rough texture. Medikomed Heel Cream uses hydroxyethyl urea, a modified form of urea that acts as a humectant. A humectant attracts water and helps hold it in the outer layers of the skin. That extra hydration makes the rough surface feel less rigid and smoother over time. The cream is also designed to stay where you put it. It leaves a thin surface film that reduces moisture loss, which is useful for heels exposed to friction from shoes or long hours of standing. Unlike a scrub, it does not physically remove hardened skin. Instead, it hydrates the built-up layer so excess cells shed more naturally with everyday wear.Texturally, it is light and absorbs quickly. That means you are less likely to skip it because of a greasy residue. If you have been using a regular body lotion and your heels still feel coarse, a humectant-based heel cream is a more targeted option for daily foot care.
How should I apply Medikomed heel cream to get the most out of it?
For the humectant to work well, it needs water to bind. The most effective routine is to wash your feet, pat them dry until slightly damp, then apply a thin layer of cream. Applying to damp skin gives the hydroxyethyl urea moisture to hold onto. If your skin is completely dry, the cream can still soften it, but the effect is stronger when the skin is already hydrated. You can use it once or twice a day. The moments that fit most easily into a routine are after a shower or bath and before bed. Before bed is especially practical because the cream has time to work overnight without shoes. In the morning, the surface film helps reduce moisture loss through the day, though very thick shoes or socks may still dry the skin out.Massage the cream into the heels and soles with your fingers. A short massage helps you cover the whole area, including the edges of the heel and the sides of the sole. There is no need to rub until the skin turns red. A light layer is enough; a thick layer may feel sticky and does not increase the humectant effect. This product is for external use only and should not go near the eye area. If your skin is prone to reactions, test it on a small patch of skin first and monitor the area. Stop using it if any discomfort or allergy appears. Regular use matters: one application can make the surface feel a little smoother, but the main benefit builds with daily application over time.
Can I use this cream on cracked heels?
Medikomed Heel Cream is designed for dry, rough and thickened skin on the heels and soles — the kind of dryness that often leads to cracking. If you already have cracked or damaged skin, the source guidance is to introduce the product gently and observe how the area responds. That means applying a small amount at first rather than a thick layer. At the same time, this cream is a cosmetic. It moisturizes and softens, but it will not close cracked skin by itself. Cracks that are deep, bleeding, red, warm, weeping or painful are beyond what a cosmetic can address. In that situation, the responsible step is to consult a doctor or pharmacist before choosing a foot-care product. The same applies if you have diabetes, circulation problems or other chronic conditions affecting the feet, or if you are unsure whether the damage is infected. For minor surface dryness, this cream can be part of a daily routine: apply to clean, slightly damp skin and keep using it consistently. If the skin shows any sign of irritation or allergic reaction after application, stop using it. The product should not be applied to the eye area and is for external use only. One way to think about it: this cream supports the skin's moisture balance and comfort, but it does not replace professional care when the skin barrier is already broken or when there are signs of infection.
Do I need to scrub my heels before applying the cream?
No. Medikomed Heel Cream is not a scrub and does not have to be combined with exfoliating to be useful. Its goal is to hydrate the thickened outer layer so that excess built-up cells shed more naturally with normal friction from socks and walking. This happens gradually, over days of consistent use, rather than as an instant mechanical polish. If you enjoy using a foot file or pumice stone, the gentler approach is to do it after a bath or shower, when the skin is already softened, and only over the hard areas. Avoid aggressive rubbing, especially if the skin is cracked or sensitive. You can apply the cream right after, on damp skin, which is the most effective moment. But exfoliating is optional. For people with very dry or damaged skin, forcing the outer layer off can make the area more uncomfortable, so simply using a moisturizing cream daily is a safer starting point. If you do use a pumice stone, keep it clean and dry between uses. Do not share it, and never use it on open cracks or wounds. The cream itself should be used only on the outside of the body and kept away from the eye area. If you are unsure how much pressure to use or you have a condition such as diabetes, get advice from a specialist before exfoliating your feet.

What This Cream Does

Medikomed Heel Cream 75 ml is a foot cream for dry, rough and thickened skin on the heels and soles. People usually choose this type of product when the skin feels coarse, looks dull or starts to form visible hard areas from friction, closed shoes or long hours on the feet. The aim is not just to coat the skin, but to help it hold more moisture so it becomes softer and smoother over time.

Key Active Ingredient

The key active in this Medikomed heel cream is hydroxyethyl urea, a modified form of urea used in cosmetics as a strong humectant. It attracts water and helps keep it in the upper layers of the skin — this matters especially for heels, where the outer layer is naturally thicker and tends to lose flexibility. When that layer is better hydrated:

  • Rough patches feel less rigid and the surface becomes smoother
  • Hardened skin is less noticeable over time
  • Excess built-up cells shed more naturally, gradually improving the appearance of callus-prone areas without acting like a scrub

Texture and Everyday Use

This cosmetic cream is light and absorbs quickly, so it is easier to use regularly without leaving the feet overly greasy. It also leaves a thin surface film that helps reduce moisture loss. It fits well into a daily foot-care habit and suits people who want a heel cream:

  • After showering or bathing
  • Before bed
  • Whenever the feet feel especially dry from seasonal changes, frequent walking, sport or standing work

For best results, apply to clean, slightly damp skin so the humectant can bind that moisture more effectively.

Who It Is Suitable For

Medikomed Heel Cream is especially useful for adults with rough heels, dry soles or skin that becomes hard from pressure and friction. If the skin is cracked, very sensitive or damaged, introduce the product gently and watch how the area responds.

Important Notes

  • Use externally only — avoid the eye area
  • If you are prone to reactions or the skin is irritated, test on a small area first
  • Stop use if discomfort or allergy appears
  • This product is a cosmetic, not a medicinal treatment
