What it is

HUTOROK CRANBERRY KISSELLI POWDER 30G (click) is an instant cranberry kissel powder — a traditional Eastern European fruit drink-dessert with a soft, slightly thick texture. People usually choose this kind of beverage when they want something warmer and more substantial than tea, but lighter than a full dessert. The cranberry flavour gives it a bright sweet-tart taste that works well on cooler days or as a simple fruit-based drink between meals.

What makes kissel different

What makes kissel different from ordinary juice drinks is the way it is thickened. In this Hutorok formula, potato starch swells in hot water and creates the characteristic smooth, spoonable-to-sippable texture. That gives the drink a gentler feel than plain hot juice and helps it feel more filling. The cranberry note adds freshness, while citric acid sharpens the fruit taste so it does not seem flat or overly sweet.

Key components

• Potato starch — swells in hot water to create the characteristic smooth, spoonable-to-sippable texture.
• Cranberry — adds a bright sweet-tart flavour and freshness.
• Citric acid — sharpens the fruit taste so it does not seem flat or overly sweet.
• Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) — added both for nutritional value and to help maintain a lively, fruity flavour profile.

This is not a high-strength supplement format, but rather a familiar hot drink with a small extra nutritional touch. The single-portion sachet is practical if you want a quick serving at home, at work, or while travelling, without cooking on the stove.

A traditional drink in a modern format

Kissel has a long place in Slavic and Baltic food culture, where fruit- or berry-based versions have traditionally been served warm as an easy dessert or comforting drink. HUTOROK Cranberry Kissel Instant Powder keeps that idea in a convenient modern format: just mix with hot water for a smooth cranberry beverage that suits a quiet break, a light snack, or an alternative to tea and coffee.

Important notes

• Not suitable for vegans — contains carmine (E120), so if you avoid animal-derived ingredients, note this.
• Sugar content — because it is a sweetened starch-based drink, it may be better enjoyed in moderation if you prefer to limit sugar.
• Serving temperature — let it cool a little before drinking, especially when preparing it with boiling water.
