Specialist Sila Altaya Flaxseed Kissel with Figs is an instant hot beverage mix from the Altai Specialist range, combining linseed (flaxseed) flour with dried fig extract as the flavouring ingredient, plus food-grade thickeners and a touch of natural sweetness. Linseed (flaxseed) flour is naturally rich in dietary fibre and plant-based omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). Alpha-linolenic acid contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels; the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 2 g of ALA. The pleasant warm kissel drink is prepared in seconds by stirring the powder into hot water and has a naturally fruity-sweet fig flavour.

USAGE: Stir 1–2 tablespoons of the powder blend into 200 ml of hot water (minimum 90 °C). Mix thoroughly until dissolved. Allow to thicken for 1–2 minutes. Serve warm.
