Fermented Ivan Chai provides the aromatic, earthy base of this blend — a naturally caffeine-free herbal infusion made from Epilobium angustifolium leaves processed through traditional Koporye fermentation (wilting, rolling, oxidation and drying), developing a distinctive honey-like, slightly woody and floral flavour with a deep amber liquor. Wild thyme (Thymus serpyllum, also known as Siberian creeping thyme) is one of the most aromatic and valued herbs of the Siberian taiga and traditional European herbalism, with a rich volatile oil profile dominated by thymol, carvacrol, terpinen-4-ol, p-cymene and gamma-terpinene.
