Dr.Sante Burdock Shampoo is a cosmetic strengthening and scalp-conditioning hair care shampoo from Dr.Sante (PharmaSystems, Ukraine), formulated for weak, thinning and brittle hair with the proprietary Trioradix botanical complex — burdock extract (Arctium lappa), black radish extract (Raphanus sativus var. niger) and Jerusalem artichoke inulin (Helianthus tuberosus) — plus burdock oil as the base active, arginine, wheat protein, panthenol and stimulating essential oils of ginger, cinnamon and eucalyptus. The Trioradix complex (three root extracts) works synergistically: burdock root provides its characteristic scalp-conditioning phytochemical profile; black radish extract contributes sulphur compounds for scalp surface care; Jerusalem artichoke inulin forms a nourishing film on the hair shaft that improves smoothness and condition. These three actives saturate the hair follicles with nutrients supporting the normal hair growth cycle. Arginine is an amino acid that contributes to the keratin protein structure of the hair. Wheat protein (hydrolysed wheat) provides direct protein conditioning, increasing hair shaft diameter. Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) improves moisture retention and flexibility of hair. The three root-based actives
The most interesting part of this shampoo is the combination of three root-based actives:

Most conventional shampoos rely on strong surfactants like SLS or SLES and coat hair with silicones for immediate smoothness. This formula skips both. Instead, it centres on the Trioradix complex: burdock oil (traditionally used when roots feel fragile), black radish (source of sulphur-containing compounds valued in scalp care), and Jerusalem artichoke inulin (which deposits a light smoothing film on the hair surface so strands feel less rough after rinsing).
Apply a small amount to thoroughly wet hair. Focus the massage on the scalp — this is where the burdock, black radish, and inulin interact with the root environment. Leaving the lather on for about a minute gives the arginine, hydrolysed wheat protein, and panthenol time to deposit on the hair shaft before rinsing. Because the formula contains no silicones, the hair may feel less "slippery" while wet; this is normal and does not mean it isn't clean.
The formula includes ginger, cinnamon, and eucalyptus oils for a toning, warming scalp sensation. While many people tolerate these well, they can irritate a very sensitive or compromised scalp. If you have a history of reactivity, do a patch test: apply a tiny amount behind the ear or on the inner forearm, leave for a few minutes, rinse, and wait 24 hours for any redness or itching.
