Dr.Sante Cannabis Hair Shampoo is a cosmetic gentle cleansing and nourishing hair care shampoo from Dr.Sante (PharmaSystems, Ukraine), formulated for damaged, porous and chemically or thermally treated hair with Cannabis sativa seed oil, the proprietary PRODEW 500 amino acid complex and amla oil (Phyllanthus emblica) as the principal active components. Cannabis sativa seed oil (hemp seed oil — no THC/CBD) provides an exceptional essential fatty acid profile (ideal omega-3:omega-6 ratio with GLA) for the nourishment of the hair shaft and scalp lipid barrier. PRODEW 500, a 14-amino-acid complex (Arginine, Aspartic Acid, PCA, Glycine, Alanine, Serine, Valine, Proline, Threonine, Isoleucine, Histidine, Phenylalanine, Sodium PCA, Sodium Lactate), directly replaces the amino acid profile of the damaged hair's natural protein structure, filling in cuticle damage and restoring hair shaft integrity. Amla oil (Phyllanthus emblica) provides smoothness, silkiness and high-gloss shine. Panthenol improves moisture retention. Trehalose (a naturally occurring disaccharide sugar) provides exceptional hygroscopic moisturising ability, protecting the hair from UV and thermal damage. It is not a heavy or oil-rich shampoo, so fine hair that gets weighed down easily may still use it, but the primary target is mid-length to long hair with visible damage or texture changes from processing and styling.
The hemp seed oil used here is strictly a cosmetic ingredient — it contains no THC, CBD, or other cannabinoids. In hair care, its value comes from its lipid profile: it is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, including gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). These lipids coat the hair shaft, filling gaps in the cuticle layer that appear when hair is damaged. The result is a smoother surface that reflects light better (less dullness), reduced friction between strands (easier combing), and a softer hand-feel.
