The hemp seed oil used here is strictly a cosmetic ingredient — it contains no THC, CBD, or other cannabinoids. In hair care, its value comes from its lipid profile: it is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, including gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). These lipids coat the hair shaft, filling gaps in the cuticle layer that appear when hair is damaged. The result is a smoother surface that reflects light better (less dullness), reduced friction between strands (easier combing), and a softer hand-feel.
