It is not simply a smaller version of a posture garment: because the LUX version is semi-rigid, the back panel must sit against the right part of your back and the shoulder straps should stay in place through normal movement. If the frame is too large, the panel slides and the straps slip; if it is too small, you feel pressure points or difficulty breathing.
The Fosta Rühikorsett LUX (kõva) is described as a short-term aid and training companion, not as full-time body equipment. A common practical approach is to start with 30–60 minute periods during the activity where you need it most, such as computer work, studying, sewing or reading, and then take it off. Wearing it all day without a break does not strengthen your posture; it only reminds your body of a position while the corset is on.
Before fastening, set your shoulders into a comfortable upright position—not forced back, just a relaxed straight line from ears to hips. Then place the corset so the back panel is centred along your spine in the thoracic and upper lumbar area. The panel should not sit so low that it presses on the lower back or so high that it touches the neck. Next, bring the shoulder straps over both shoulders, fasten the corset, and adjust the straps evenly on both sides.
