The Posture Corrector LUX (Hard) model 656, Size 1 is a small-format rigid-support orthopedic brace designed for individuals with a smaller chest circumference — including older children, teenagers, or slim adults — who wish to support correct spinal posture during daily activities. The device provides targeted corrective support to the thoracic spine and shoulders, discouraging habitual slouching and encouraging an upright, physiologically correct back position.
The construction consists of a double-layer knitted outer shell (27% latex, 73% polyester) and a 100% cotton inner lining, with two longitudinal rigid stiffeners providing the structural support for postural correction. The brace height for Size 1 is 38 cm. Regular use, worn during periods of sitting or physical activity when postural strain is highest, supports the gradual correction and maintenance of correct spinal alignment. The device is worn over or under clothing and is adjustable for individual fit. See sizing guide on packaging for body circumference measurements corresponding to Size 1.

Product Overview
Planeta Zdorovia Rühikorsett LUX size 1 656-1 is a rigid posture corrector for the upper back and shoulders, designed for a smaller chest circumference. It is usually chosen by teenagers, older children or slim adults who tend to round the shoulders while sitting at a desk, studying, using a phone or spending long hours on the computer. The brace helps remind the body of a more upright position and reduces the habit of slouching.
Key Features
The main effect comes from its mechanical design rather than from active ingredients. Two rigid stiffeners along the back create structure in the thoracic area, while the shape of the brace gently guides the shoulders backward. This changes how the upper body is held: instead of collapsing forward, the chest stays more open and the back remains straighter. In simple terms, the corrector gives the body a clear positional cue, so posture is easier to maintain during periods of sitting or movement.
- Two rigid stiffeners along the back create structure in the thoracic area.
- Shape of the brace gently guides the shoulders backward.
Materials & Fit
What makes this orthopedic brace practical is the combination of firm correction and wearable materials. The outer double-layer knit gives the product stability, while the cotton inner lining feels softer against the skin and helps make longer wear more tolerable. Size 1 is a compact format with a 38 cm height, which suits users who need a smaller posture brace rather than a larger thoracic support model. It can fit into a day that includes school, office work, homework, commuting or other situations where posture tends to worsen over time.
How to Use & Cautions
This type of posture corset is best seen as a training aid, not as something that “holds” the back on its own forever. Many people use it during the parts of the day when postural strain is highest, together with conscious movement, stretching and an ergonomic sitting setup. If the brace feels too tight, rubs the skin, or if there is a known spinal condition, it is wise to speak with a healthcare professional before use. Do not wear it over irritated skin or while sleeping.

Customer Questions
The Rühikorsett LUX size 1 is engineered for users with a smaller chest circumference. It is typically selected by teenagers, older children, or slim adults who experience shoulder rounding during desk work, studying, or extended computer use. The compact format features a height of 38 cm, providing structure to the thoracic area without the bulk of larger thoracic support models. To determine if this size is appropriate, consider your body frame and the specific area of postural strain. If you find that standard adult braces are too large or restrictive, this smaller size offers a more tailored fit. It is designed to gently guide the shoulders backward and create a clear positional cue, helping to maintain an upright posture during daily activities such as school, office work, or commuting.
This product functions through mechanical design rather than active ingredients. Two rigid stiffeners run along the back to create structure in the thoracic area, while the overall shape of the brace gently guides the shoulders backward. This physical guidance helps keep the chest open and the back straighter, offering a constant reminder to maintain an upright position. It is best viewed as a training aid to help retrain muscle memory, not as a device that holds the back permanently. For best results, wear it during periods of highest postural strain, such as long study sessions or work hours. Combine its use with conscious movement, stretching, and an ergonomic sitting setup to reinforce good habits. It is not intended to be worn while sleeping or over irritated skin.
The practicality of this orthopedic brace lies in its material combination. The outer layer consists of a double-layer knit that provides the necessary stability and firm correction for the upper back. Against the skin, a cotton inner lining is used to enhance comfort, making longer periods of wear more tolerable. This design aims to balance the need for structural support with the need for breathability and softness. If the brace feels too tight or begins to rub the skin, it is advisable to adjust the fit or take breaks. Ensure the skin is clean and dry before application, and avoid wearing it over any irritated areas. The materials are chosen to support daily activities, from school to office work, without causing excessive discomfort.
