You will likely feel a warming, tingling, or slightly prickly sensation; this is expected. After the chosen time, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat the skin dry. Do not leave the gel on overnight or under occlusion. Frequency depends on how your skin responds: many people start with 2–3 times per week and increase only if the skin tolerates it well. Always follow with a gentle moisturiser if the area feels dry. Avoid the eye area, mucous membranes, and any broken or irritated skin. If you are unsure about the right duration for your skin, test on a small patch first and keep the initial contact time to one minute.
The river sponge particles in this gel are designed to create an intensive surface-level stimulation, so a distinct warming, tingling, or prickly feeling during the contact time is normal and expected. It usually subsides within a few minutes after rinsing. However, the sensation should not be painful, and the skin should not become intensely red, swollen, or develop a burning sensation that persists after rinsing.
