Apply a thin layer of the gel to clean, dry skin on the area you want to target. Because the river sponge particles create an intensive surface effect, the recommended contact time is short — typically 1 to 3 minutes for first-time users. You will likely feel a warming, tingling, or slightly prickly sensation; this is expected. After the chosen time, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat the skin dry. Do not leave the gel on overnight or under occlusion. Frequency depends on how your skin responds: many people start with 2–3 times per week and increase only if the skin tolerates it well. Always follow with a gentle moisturiser if the area feels dry. Avoid the eye area, mucous membranes, and any broken or irritated skin. If you are unsure about the right duration for your skin, test on a small patch first and keep the initial contact time to one minute.
