What This Toothpaste Is
ROT WEISS toothpaste by Planeta Zdorovia is a classic fluoride toothpaste for family oral hygiene. People usually choose this type of toothpaste when they want one practical product for both teeth and gums, with a clean mint taste and reliable protection during normal brushing.
Key Active Ingredients
- Sodium monofluorophosphate — a fluoride compound used in many toothpastes to help strengthen enamel. Fluoride helps the tooth surface become more resistant to acids formed after eating and drinking.
- 1250 ppm fluoride — a commonly used concentration for cavity protection in standard adult and family toothpaste.
- Gentle polishing agent — helps remove surface plaque and everyday stains from food and drinks without making the paste feel harsh.
Together with the mint flavour, the formula leaves the mouth feeling fresh and clean after brushing, making the product easy to keep in regular use at home.
Who It Suits
- Families sharing one tube who want a straightforward option for morning and evening brushing.
- Adults looking for a familiar mint toothpaste with a balanced formula.
- Anyone who prefers mild cleaning action with fluoride rather than intensive whitening effects.
Important Note
If you are choosing oral care products for a child, have very sensitive teeth or gums, or use other fluoride products, it is sensible to check whether this fluoride level is appropriate for your situation.

Customer Questions
ROT WEISS is positioned as a family toothpaste, which usually means it can be shared by adults and older children. However, the tube contains 1250 ppm fluoride, a concentration designed for standard adult and family use, not specifically for small children. National guidelines in many countries recommend a lower fluoride level or a smaller amount of paste for younger children, so if you are choosing toothpaste for a child, the sensible step is to check with a dentist or paediatrician whether this fluoride level fits your child’s age and whether they already get fluoride from other sources, such as fluoridated water, supplements, or professional treatments.
Ppm stands for parts per million, and in toothpaste it tells you how much fluoride is present in the formula. ROT WEISS contains 1250 ppm fluoride in the form of sodium monofluorophosphate. This is a conventional concentration for a standard adult and family toothpaste, meaning you do not need to combine it with a separate high-fluoride product unless a dentist tells you to.
ROT WEISS is best understood as a classic cleaning toothpaste, not a whitening one. The formula contains a gentle polishing agent, which helps remove surface plaque and everyday stains that come from food and drinks like coffee, tea, and berries. That can leave your teeth feeling cleaner and looking less dull after a few days of regular brushing, but this is not the same as a whitening toothpaste with special additives or a higher abrasive level.
For a standard fluoride toothpaste like this, the practical routine is to brush twice a day — once in the morning and once in the evening. Use a pea-sized amount for adults, which is enough to cover the tooth surfaces without excessive foaming. Tilt the brush at a 45-degree angle along the gumline and use short, gentle back-and-forth or circular motions, then brush the biting surfaces and the inner sides of your teeth. A session of about two minutes is typical for thorough cleaning.
