For a standard fluoride toothpaste like this, the practical routine is to brush twice a day — once in the morning and once in the evening. Use a pea-sized amount for adults, which is enough to cover the tooth surfaces without excessive foaming. Tilt the brush at a 45-degree angle along the gumline and use short, gentle back-and-forth or circular motions, then brush the biting surfaces and the inner sides of your teeth. A session of about two minutes is typical for thorough cleaning.
After brushing, spit out the excess paste rather than swallowing it. If you rinse immediately with a large mouthful of water, you wash away most of the fluoride before it has time to act. If you find the paste taste too strong or foamy, you can do a very brief rinse, but a common tip is to wait a little before eating or drinking so the fluoride stays in contact with the enamel longer.
Store the tube with the cap closed at normal room temperature. Keep it out of reach of small children, because swallowing a large amount of fluoride toothpaste is not safe. The paste is intended for routine home oral hygiene, not for treating pain or gum disease. If your teeth or gums are particularly sensitive, you bleed regularly when brushing, or you have a chronic oral condition, ask a dentist whether this product (or any standard adult toothpaste) is right for you before using it daily.
One more practical note: a toothpaste's cleaning effect depends partly on your brushing technique and how consistently you use it, so pairing this paste with a soft-bristled brush and regular dental check-ups will give you more benefit than using the paste alone.
