Sustavit Chondroitin and Shark Cartilage Gel-Balsam is a cosmetic body gel from KorolevFarm formulated for skin care of the joint and muscle areas, with chondroitin sulfate and shark cartilage extract as the principal skin-conditioning active ingredients. Chondroitin sulfate is a naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan found in the extracellular matrix; in topical cosmetic preparations it is used as a high-molecular-weight moisturising and film-forming agent that provides a distinctive conditioning sensation on the skin surface during application. Shark cartilage extract supplies collagen peptides and glycosaminoglycan fractions used in cosmetics for their skin-conditioning properties.
