What this supplement is
VITATEKA Sea Buckthorn Oil Capsules 300 mg N100 is a sea buckthorn oil food supplement for people who want to add more valuable fatty acids and carotenoids to their diet. Sea buckthorn has long been used in Northern and Eurasian traditions as a nutrient-rich berry, especially appreciated when the menu is low in colourful plant compounds and beneficial oils.
Fatty acids and beta-carotene
The main value of sea buckthorn oil lies in its polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) and beta-carotene. PUFAs are structural fats that become part of cell membranes, helping them stay flexible and function properly. This matters for many tissues, including skin and mucous surfaces. Beta-carotene is a carotenoid pigment that the body can use as a source of vitamin A as needed; it is also valued for its antioxidant role, meaning it helps protect cells from oxidative stress caused by environmental factors and an unbalanced diet.
Why the capsule form
An interesting feature of this product is the concentrated sea buckthorn oil in capsule form. Capsules make the oil easy to take without the strong taste of berry oil and help keep portions consistent. The composition also includes mead acid, a less commonly mentioned fatty acid naturally present in the oil. Together, these lipid components and carotenoids make sea buckthorn capsules a practical option for seasonal use, during periods of increased workload, or when you want extra nutritional support for skin, immune function and general resilience.
Who it may suit
This supplement is usually chosen by adults and teenagers over 14 who prefer oil-based nutrients in a convenient format: for example, in colder months, during recovery after a demanding period, or when the diet contains little oily fish, orange vegetables and other sources of carotenoids. It can fit into a balanced regimen as a course-based addition rather than a permanent solution.
Good to know
Although sea buckthorn oil is generally well known and widely used, it is still an active supplement. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, planning to give it to a teenager with sensitivities, or have questions about combining it with other products, it is sensible to speak with a healthcare professional before use. If you know you react poorly to any component, this product is not suitable for you.
