Mirrolla Merevaikhape Juustele is a leave-on hair lotion built around succinic acid (amber acid) — a small organic molecule traditionally extracted from Baltic amber and now widely used in cosmetics as a mild revitaliser for the scalp and hair fibre. The 150 ml bottle is designed for regular use between washes and works as a light tonic rather than a heavy treatment.
Succinic acid participates in the natural energy cycle of skin cells (the Krebs cycle). When applied topically, it is thought to give the scalp a gentle wake-up signal, encouraging better microcirculation at the roots and helping hair follicles work in a more balanced rhythm. It is a popular choice when hair starts to look dull or limp, feels lifeless, or sheds more than usual after winter, stress, or restrictive diets.
Unlike a rinse-off mask, a leave-in tonic stays in contact with the scalp for hours — exactly where the active ingredient needs to act: on the follicle, not on the lengths. Applied to clean, towel-dried roots and massaged in with the fingertips, it delivers the acid evenly without weighing hair down or making it greasy. Lengths and tips become softer as a side effect, but the main target is the skin under the hair.
