Because this is a solid bar soap containing shungite, its longevity depends heavily on how it is stored between uses. Unlike liquid cleansers, a bar left sitting in a pool of water will break down rapidly, wasting product and creating a slippery, unhygienic surface. To get the most out of your 100g bar, always place it on a draining soap dish or rack that allows air to circulate around all sides. This ensures the bar dries out completely after each use, which hardens the surface slightly and extends the life of the soap significantly.
This product is designed for gentle cleansing, removing dirt, excess sebum, and residue to leave skin feeling fresh. However, because it is a traditional solid bar soap rather than a syndet (synthetic detergent) bar, it may have a different pH balance compared to modern liquid washes. If you have very dry, reactive, or easily irritated skin, you should monitor how your skin feels after washing. Some individuals find that regular bar soaps can strip natural oils more than cream-based cleansers, potentially leading to tightness or dryness.
