The pendant measures 50 mm and carries an engraving, meaning that the surface of the stone has a raised or recessed design. At this size it is noticeably larger than standard small pendants, so the engraving is easy to see and becomes part of the overall look.
Shungite has a high carbon content, which gives it its deep black colour and characteristic matt surface. Because of its porous structure, the stone may leave a faint dark mark when in contact with damp skin or light fabric, especially in the first period after purchase. This is a normal property of untreated or lightly polished shungite.
