Ripats "Ring" on käsitööna lihvitud ehe ehtsast Karjala šungiidist, kinnitatud pehmele vahaga immutatud puuvillanöörile. Ringikujuline 35 mm laiune amulett on minimalistlik ja sobib nii naistele kui meestele, kes hindavad looduslikest materjalidest valmistatud aksessuaare ning otsivad ehet, millel on lisaks esteetikale ka sisuline tähendus.
Mis on šungiit
Šungiit on haruldane mineraal, mida leidub maailmas peamiselt ühes kohas — Karjalas, Onega järve piirkonnas Venemaal. Selle vanus ulatub umbes kahe miljardi aasta taha ja teaduse jaoks teeb selle eriliseks rikkalik süsinikusisaldus ning fullereenide olemasolu — see on spetsiifiline süsiniku molekulaarvorm, mille avastamine tõi 1996. aastal keemikutele Nobeli preemia. The pendant is made of shungite, a mineral of carbon origin with a characteristic dark, almost black colour and a matt surface. The Ring shape is round, about 35 mm in diameter: noticeable enough to become an accent of an outfit, but not overloaded with details. It is precisely this size that lets the pendant look restrained and go with basic clothing.
Shungite is a porous mineral, so it is better not to soak it or subject it to prolonged exposure to water. If the pendant gets dirty, it is enough to wipe the stone with a slightly damp soft cloth and dry it straight away. Aggressive cleaning agents, alcohol and ultrasonic baths are not suitable: they can damage the surface.
This pendant is an appropriate gift in several situations. First of all, for those who are interested in minerals and natural stones: shungite attracts with its unusual origin and characteristic matt texture, which is hard to confuse with other materials.
