The pendant is made of shungite, a mineral of carbon origin with a characteristic dark, almost black colour and a matt surface. The Ring shape is round, about 35 mm in diameter: noticeable enough to become an accent of an outfit, but not overloaded with details. It is precisely this size that lets the pendant look restrained and go with basic clothing.

The cord is waxed, meaning it is covered with a thin layer of wax. This makes it more resistant to moisture and abrasion than an ordinary thread, and also pleasant to the touch. The cord length can usually be adjusted, which allows the pendant to be worn at different heights.
