White clay (kaolin) from the Valdai Hills region of Russia is a refined, fine-particle kaolinite clay distinguished by its white colouration and high mineral content including aluminium silicate, all mineral salts and trace elements in a natural balanced composition. White clay is the mildest and most universally suitable clay type for cosmetic use, making it a particularly appropriate choice for normal to dry and sensitive skin types. For the face, white Valdai clay contributes to gentle surface cleansing, pore care, a smoothed and refreshed appearance of the skin surface, and a soothing effect on surface redness and flaking. For the body, it provides a gentle conditioning clay treatment. For the hair, it cleanses the scalp and helps to strengthen the hair's cosmetic appearance. USE: Mix to a sour-cream consistency in a non-metal bowl. Apply to skin or scalp. Leave as a mask for 5–15 minutes; as a body wrap (covered with film) for 20–30 minutes. Rinse with water.
