Fitokosmetik Narodnye Retsepty White Valdai Clay 155ml is a cosmetic clay mask for the face, body and hair, formulated with natural white Valdai clay as the principal cosmetic mineral active. White clay (kaolin) from the Valdai Hills region of Russia is a refined, fine-particle kaolinite clay distinguished by its white colouration and high mineral content including aluminium silicate, all mineral salts and trace elements in a natural balanced composition. White clay is the mildest and most universally suitable clay type for cosmetic use, making it a particularly appropriate choice for normal to dry and sensitive skin types. For the face, white Valdai clay contributes to gentle surface cleansing, pore care, a smoothed and refreshed appearance of the skin surface, and a soothing effect on surface redness and flaking. For the body, it provides a gentle conditioning clay treatment. For the hair, it cleanses the scalp and helps to strengthen the hair's cosmetic appearance. USE: Mix to a sour-cream consistency in a non-metal bowl. Apply to skin or scalp. Leave as a mask for 5–15 minutes; as a body wrap (covered with film) for 20–30 minutes. Rinse with water.

Start with clean, slightly damp skin or scalp. In a non-metal bowl, mix the clay powder with lukewarm water (roughly 1:1 by volume) until you get a smooth, yogurt-like paste without lumps. Let it sit for a minute so the particles fully hydrate.
This product uses white kaolin clay from the Valdai region. Among cosmetic clays, kaolin has the finest particle size and the lowest absorption capacity, which makes it the gentlest option. It removes surface oil and impurities without the strong pulling sensation typical of illite (green) or montmorillonite (blue) clays.
The product’s guidance states: do not combine with strong exfoliating acids (AHAs like glycolic, lactic; BHAs like salicylic) or retinoids (retinol, retinal, tretinoin) in the same application. The reason is cumulative barrier stress: kaolin gently cleanses and temporarily reduces surface lipids, while acids and retinoids increase cell turnover and thin the stratum corneum. Together they can cause redness, peeling, or stinging even on resilient skin.
White kaolin clay is a stable mineral powder with no water content, so microbial growth isn’t a concern while it stays dry. The main risk is moisture ingress, which can cause hardening or, in humid bathrooms, surface mold over very long periods.
