Motherwort tincture is a herbal food supplement made from motherwort herb. The tincture is prepared in a ratio of 1:5 using 70% ethanol.

INGREDIENTS: tincture made from motherwort herb (1:5) using 70% ethanol.
RECOMMENDED DAILY INTAKE AND DOSAGE: Adults and children over 12 years of age: dilute 30-50 drops of tincture in 1/4 glass of water and take 3-4 times a day. Duration of use: 3-4 weeks.
WARNINGS: It is recommended to consult a doctor before using the food supplement. Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use in children under 12 years of age. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the product ingredients. During use, refrain from driving and working with moving machinery. In case of allergic reactions, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use as a substitute for a varied diet.

Motherwort tincture comes in liquid form: the plant's active substances are extracted with alcohol, so the product is absorbed faster than tablets or capsules. Before taking, the tincture is diluted in 1/4 glass of water — this softens the taste and reduces direct contact of the alcohol with the mucous membranes.
The main difference lies in how the active substances are extracted and delivered. In the tincture, the plant compounds of motherwort are dissolved in alcohol: such an extract does not need to dissolve in the stomach like a tablet, and it starts being absorbed sooner. For those who find it difficult to swallow capsules or who prefer classic herbal remedies with a clear, minimal composition, the liquid form is often preferable.
