What the product is
Kompas Zdorovja Linaseemneõli Se Cr Si 500 ml is a cold-pressed flaxseed oil used as a food oil for people who want to add more omega-3 fats to meals without changing their menu too much. Flaxseed oil is especially valued for its high content of alpha-linolenic acid, a plant-based omega-3 fatty acid. Because the oil is not refined and is obtained by cold pressing, the fatty acid profile stays closer to the original seed.
Key components and how they fit in the diet
The main point of this flaxseed oil is its omega-3 content: the label states 57%. Omega-3 fats are part of cell membranes and are involved in many regulatory processes in the body. Plant omega-3 from flax is different from fish oil EPA and DHA:
- The body can convert a small part of alpha-linolenic acid into these forms.
- Flaxseed oil itself is mainly chosen as a convenient botanical source of unsaturated fats.
- It also helps balance meals that contain a lot of omega-6-rich oils.
When people choose it and how to use it
This product fits best into cold use in the kitchen. People often add flaxseed oil to:
- Salads
- Cottage cheese
- Porridge
- Boiled vegetables
- Smoothies
It gives a mild nutty note and a simple way to enrich food with valuable fats. It can be a practical option for those who:
- Do not eat fish often
- Prefer plant-based foods
- Want more variety among edible oils
Since this is a culinary oil rather than a capsule supplement, it is easy to adjust the amount to personal taste and eating habits.
Important notes
Cold-pressed oils are sensitive to heat, light and air, so this one is better used unheated rather than for frying. If you are:
- Pregnant
- Breastfeeding
- Taking blood-thinning medicine
- Planning to use large amounts of flaxseed oil as part of a health-focused regimen
It is sensible to discuss this with a qualified specialist.

Customer Questions
Because the oil is cold‑pressed and not refined, it keeps the natural fatty‑acid profile of the seed and has a mild nutty taste.
Cold‑pressed flaxseed oil is sensitive to heat, light and air, which can cause the fats to oxidise and develop an off‑flavour.
