How to place an order at the Vitateka.ee online store?
At the Vitateka.ee online store, you can place an order using a mobile phone, tablet or computer. Creating an account is not mandatory: you can also place an order as a guest. To earn and use bonus points, however, you will need to log in to your account or register. Placing an order on a mobile phone 1. Find the right product Open the Vitateka.ee online store and find the product you want in one of the following ways: use the search at the top of the page; open the categories menu; choose a suitable brand; browse the special offers or popular products. To open the product page, tap the product image or name. On the product page you can review the product description, composition, directions for use, price and availability. 2. Add the product to the cart On the product page, tap the “Add to cart” button. After adding the product, tap the cart icon in the top right corner of the screen. A small cart window will open, where you can: change the product quantity; remove the product from the cart; open the full cart page; proceed straight to placing the order. Opening the separate cart page is not mandatory. If the products and their quantities are correct, tap the “Place order” button straight away. 3. Enter your contact details and address On the checkout page, fill in all the required fields: email address; first name; last name; country; city; postcode; mobile phone number; delivery address, if the selected delivery method requires it. Filling in the “Company” field is not mandatory. Please enter valid contact details. The order confirmation will be sent to your email address, and your phone number will be used to send delivery-related notifications. If you already have a Vitateka account, you can log in to it. For a standard order, however, registration is not mandatory. 4. Choose a delivery method Choose the order collection method that suits you. Depending on the delivery country, the following may be available: Omniva; DPD; Smartpost; Unisend; courier delivery; collection from the store; other available delivery methods. Delivery to a parcel locker If you choose delivery to a parcel locker, after selecting the transport company you also need to specify a particular parcel locker. To do this: Choose Smartpost Parcel, DPD Parcel, Omniva Parcel or another available parcel locker delivery method. Tap the parcel locker selection field. Choose the right city and a particular parcel locker. Without selecting a particular parcel locker, it is not possible to complete the order. Courier delivery If you choose courier delivery, carefully check the delivery address: street and house number; flat number, if applicable; city; postcode; country. 5. Choose a payment method In the “Payment method” section, choose one of the available payment options. Paying via Maksekeskus If you choose Maksekeskus: Select Maksekeskus as the payment method. Choose your country. Choose the bank through which you want to pay. The list may include, for example, Swedbank, SEB, LHV, Luminor, Coop Pank, Citadele, Revolut, Paysera, Wise, N26 and other banks. After choosing a bank, scroll down the page and tap the “Place order” button on the main page. You will then be redirected to the selected bank’s page, where you can confirm the payment. Paying by bank card To pay by bank card, choose the Visa / Mastercard payment method. Then scroll down the page and tap the “Place order” button. Follow the instructions shown on the payment service page. Depending on your device and bank card, it may also be possible to pay via Google Pay or Apple Pay. Paying via PayPal If you want to pay via PayPal: Choose PayPal Express Checkout. Confirm that you have read and agree to the terms of sale, payment and delivery. Tap the yellow PayPal button located below the selected payment method. When PayPal is selected, a separate yellow PayPal button is used to continue the order. 6. Enter a discount code The field for entering a discount code is located below the payment methods. Tap the “Apply discount code” text, enter the discount code and confirm its use. After applying the code, check whether the order total has changed. The discount code may not apply to products that are already on sale, nor to products or categories that are not covered by the terms of the relevant campaign. 7. Check the order summary In the “Order summary” section, check the following details: the selected products; the quantity of each product; the cost of the products; the delivery cost; the applied discount; the tax amount; the order total. If necessary, product quantities can also be changed in the order summary. 8. Confirm the order Before completing the order, tick the box: “I have read and agree to the terms of sale, payment and delivery.” What happens next depends on the payment method you chose: when paying via Maksekeskus or by bank card, tap the green “Place order” button at the bottom of the page; when paying via PayPal, tap the yellow PayPal button below the payment method. Do not close the page while the payment is being made. After completing the payment, wait until you are automatically redirected back to the Vitateka.ee online store. Placing an order on a computer On a computer, the checkout process is almost the same as on a mobile phone. Mainly the layout of the elements on the page differs. 1. Find the right product Open the Vitateka.ee online store in your web browser. To find a product, you can use: the search bar; the product catalogue; the categories; the list of brands; the special offers and promotions sections. To open the product page, click the product name or image. 2. Add the product to the cart On the product page, click the “Add to cart” button. After adding the product, click the cart icon in the top right corner of the web page. In the window that opens, you can: check the selected products; change the product quantities; remove any products you don’t need; open the full cart page; proceed straight to placing the order. Opening the separate cart page is not mandatory. 3. The order can also be placed without registering. 4. Choose a delivery method Choose a parcel locker, courier delivery, collection from the store or another available delivery method. When choosing parcel locker delivery, be sure to select a particular parcel locker from the list. In the case of courier delivery, check the recipient’s full address. 5. Choose a payment method On a computer, the same conditions apply: when choosing Maksekeskus, you need to select your country and bank; when paying by bank card, you need to choose Visa / Mastercard; when paying via PayPal, you need to use the separate yellow PayPal button. 6. Enter a discount code Open the “Apply discount code” section below the payment methods. Enter the discount code and confirm its use. Then check whether the order total has changed. 7. Check the order In the order summary, check: the products; the product quantities; the delivery method; the selected parcel locker or delivery address; the delivery cost; the applied discount; the order total. Depending on the size of the browser window, the order summary may be located to the right of the form or below it. 8. Complete the checkout Confirm that you have read and agree to the terms of sale, payment and delivery. Then: when paying via Maksekeskus or by bank card, tap the “Place order” button; when paying via PayPal, tap the yellow PayPal button. Complete the payment and wait until you are redirected back to the Vitateka.ee online store. How do you know whether the order was placed successfully? The order has been placed successfully if: after the payment, an order confirmation page appeared on the screen; an order number was assigned to the order; an order confirmation was sent to your email...
Cannot pay for the order
If you cannot proceed to payment when placing an order, first check whether all mandatory fields are filled in and the delivery and payment method are fully selected. Sometimes marking only the general option is not enough. Online shops apparently love little puzzles of radio buttons and tick boxes. 1. Check the buyer details Make sure that all fields marked with an asterisk (*) are filled in: first and last name; address; country and city; postcode; mobile phone number; email address. Check that the fields contain no extra spaces and that the phone number has been entered correctly. 2. Check the delivery method If you choose delivery to a parcel locker, marking just Smartpost, Omniva or DPD is not enough. Open the selection field that appears and also choose the specific parcel locker. If no parcel locker is selected, the system cannot complete the order. 3. Choose a specific payment method Paying via Maksekeskus First select Maksekeskus and then the icon of a specific bank, for example Swedbank, SEB, LHV, Luminor or another available bank. If only the general Maksekeskus payment method is selected but no bank has been specified, the redirect to payment may not happen. Card payment Choose payment by debit or credit card and then a specific option: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Make sure a mark indicating the selection appears next to the chosen option. 4. Confirm your agreement and place the order Before completing the order, tick the box “I have read and agree to the terms of sale, payment and delivery” and press the “Place order” button. 5. If payment fails already on the bank's page Check the following: there is enough money in the bank account or on the card to pay; online payments are enabled on the card; the daily or monthly limit for online payments has not been exceeded; the card is not blocked and has not expired; confirmation of the payment in the banking app or via 3D Secure was completed. If the bank rejects the payment or does not show the reason for the refusal, contact your bank's customer support. Only the bank can see the exact reason for the rejection. 6. If nothing helped Contact us via the website chat, email or phone. We will check the order and, if necessary, provide bank details for a direct transfer. Important If you make repeated checkout attempts, several order entries may appear in the customer account. This is normal: each attempt may create a separate entry. If the payment has already been made successfully, any automatic payment reminders can be ignored.
Where to choose the parcel machine address?
The parcel machine address is selected during checkout in the “Delivery methods” section. 1. Select delivery to a parcel machine Choose a suitable delivery method: Smartpost Parcel; Omniva parcel; DPD Parcel. After you select a delivery method, a field with the text “Please select a location!” appears beneath it. Click on this field to open the list of parcel machines for the selected service provider. 2. Choose a suitable parcel machine From the list, choose a parcel machine that suits you by city and address. Before continuing, check that the selected location is correct. 3. When changing the delivery method, select the location again If you switch between Smartpost, Omniva and DPD, the parcel machine selection field appears again. Click on it and choose a suitable parcel machine for the new delivery method. Important A parcel machine address is selected separately for each delivery method. If you first chose, for example, Omniva and then DPD or Smartpost, you must select the parcel machine again for the new service provider. If the parcel machine selection field does not appear, click on the desired delivery method again or refresh the page. Do not proceed to payment before a parcel machine has been selected, otherwise the checkout may not be completed.
I can't find the first-order discount code
For your first order in the Vitateka online store, use the discount code FIRST15. How to use the discount code Add the products you want to your cart and go to checkout. Find the „APPLY DISCOUNT CODE“ section below the payment methods. On a computer it is located in the right-hand column of the page. On a mobile phone the section is below the payment methods, before the order summary. If the field is not open, click the „APPLY DISCOUNT CODE“ heading. In the „Enter discount code“ field, enter the code FIRST15 and click the „Apply discount“ button. Please note! Discount codes apply only to regularly priced products. If a product is already on sale, no additional discount is applied to it. If your cart contains both regularly priced and already discounted products, the discount code applies only to the regularly priced products.
I've already placed an order — can I still add items?
Yes, you can add items to an order you have already placed, as long as the order has not been shipped yet. How to add items to your order Contact us as soon as possible and provide your order number. Let us know which items and in what quantity you would like to add. We will check the status of your order. If it has not been shipped yet, we will add the items and let you know how to pay the difference. Important If the order has already been handed over to the courier service or shipped, new items cannot be added to it. In that case, you will need to place a separate order.
