Bio National Honey Black Tea is a flavoured black tea blend from the GrinLab/Bio National "Honey" tea range, combining a distinctive author's blend of black tea with an aromatic herbal complex including creeping thyme (Thymus serpyllum) and Sagan Dailya (Rhododendron adamsii) leaf with natural honey flavouring. The black tea base is blended from selected teas harvested in India, Ceylon (Sri Lanka), Nepal and China; the blend is balanced for a rounded, full-bodied character with bright notes of anise and clove and a calm elderflower-like aromatic note. Creeping thyme (Thymus serpyllum) is a traditional Siberian wild herb from the Lamiaceae family, with an intense herbal-aromatic essential oil (thymol, carvacrol). Sagan Dailya (Rhododendron adamsii, "white wings") is an aromatic shrub from the Ericaceae family used in Buryatian and Mongolian traditional herbal practice, which provides a distinctive fresh, camphor-like aromatic note and is prized in Siberian tea culture. Natural honey flavouring provides the warm honey aroma characteristic of the Bio National Honey range. 25 filter bags × 1.7 g.
⚠ Sagan Dailya (Rhododendron adamsii): do not consume in large amounts; contains grayanotoxins.

Bio National Honey Black Tea is a flavoured black tea blend for people who enjoy a richer cup with herbal character rather than a plain classic brew. The black tea base gives body, depth and gentle stimulation from naturally occurring caffeine, while the honey aroma adds a soft warm note without added sugar. This makes it a good option for a slow morning cup, an afternoon break, or a cosy hot drink when you want something more expressive than standard black tea.
What gives this BioNational tea its character is the combination of several aromatic layers. The black tea blend from India, Ceylon, Nepal and China creates a full, rounded taste. Creeping thyme, also known as Thymus serpyllum, brings a wild herbal tone with naturally occurring essential oil components such as thymol and carvacrol, which are responsible for its recognisable spicy, slightly resinous scent. Sagan Dailya, or Rhododendron adamsii, adds a fresh camphor-like accent that makes the cup feel more vivid and brisk. Together with the natural honey flavouring, these notes give the drink a sweet-smelling, slightly spicy profile without making it sugary.
This style of tea also has a cultural angle. Creeping thyme has long been used in regional herbal infusions, while Sagan Dailya is known in Siberian, Buryatian and Mongolian tea traditions, where aromatic mountain plants are valued for their distinctive scent and invigorating feel. In this blend, they are used not as strong standalone herbs, but as part of a balanced composition that keeps black tea at the centre.
People usually choose this black tea when they want variety in their tea selection: a more interesting office cup, a warming drink for cooler weather, or a flavourful alternative to sweet beverages. If you enjoy spiced, herbal or honey-accented teas, this blend may suit your taste especially well.
Because this tea contains caffeine, it may be better earlier in the day or whenever you prefer a more lively cup. Sagan Dailya is a traditional aromatic plant, but it should not be consumed in large amounts. If you are sensitive to caffeine, pregnant, breastfeeding, or prefer to be cautious with strong herbs, enjoy this tea in moderation.
