Pedipur Heel Cream works through a combination of moisturizing, emollient, and restorative ingredients to care for dry and cracked feet. Its primary purpose is to reduce dryness, improve skin elasticity, and reduce the risk of cracking.
Glycerin and betaine are effective humectants that attract and retain moisture in the skin. This helps reduce dryness and tightness, which is especially important for rough heels.
Emollients such as isopropyl myristate and liquid paraffin (mineral oil) form a protective film (occlusive barrier) on the skin's surface. This reduces transepidermal water loss and leaves the skin softer and smoother.
Sodium Carboxymethyl Beta-Glucan promotes skin repair support and helps improve its protective properties. It can also reduce sensitivity and support regeneration.
Peppermint Extract (Mentha Piperita Leaf Extract) provides a refreshing and mild cooling effect, helping to reduce discomfort and tired feet.
Additional moisturizing ingredients (Butylene Glycol and Pentylene Glycol) maintain moisture balance, while emulsifiers ensure even distribution of the cream across the skin.
