The main difference is that Alteja Kummelitee N25 belongs to the category of herbal infusions rather than tea in the strict sense of the word. It contains no leaves of the tea plant (Camellia sinensis), so it is completely free of caffeine and theanine — the substances that give black and green tea their invigorating effect.
Chamomile belongs to the daisy family (Asteraceae, or Compositae).
