Fitokosmetik Iranian Henna with Dead Sea Minerals is a plant-based hair colourant derived from the dried and finely powdered leaves of Lawsonia inermis (henna plant), enriched with Dead Sea minerals, in a generous 125 g pack. Henna (Lawsonia inermis) contains lawsone (2-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone) as its principal colorant molecule, which reacts with the keratin protein of the hair shaft via a non-oxidative covalent bonding process, depositing a warm, natural, permanent colour that does not penetrate the hair cortex in the same way as conventional synthetic dye systems.
The natural colour palette achievable with Lawsonia inermis henna spans a range from golden-yellow (on light hair with a short processing time) through warm copper-orange and auburn to dark chestnut-brown tones, depending on the natural base colour of the hair, processing time, and application temperature. When used in combination with basma (fermented indigo leaf powder, Indigofera tinctoria), the full range from ash-brown through cool grey-green to natural black shades becomes achievable. The enrichment with Dead Sea mineral salts — rich in magnesium, calcium, potassium, and trace elements — contributes additional conditioning and mineral nourishment to the hair during the colour treatment. The 125 g pack is sufficient for medium-to-long hair.

Fitocosmetic Iranian Henna with Dead Sea Minerals is a plant-based hair colour powder for people who want a warmer, more natural-looking result than many conventional dyes give. It is based on finely milled Lawsonia inermis leaves, the classic henna plant used for hair colouring in North Africa, the Middle East and South Asia for centuries. Many choose this type of herbal hair colour when they want visible tone, shine and a denser feel to the hair shaft in one step.
The key colouring substance in henna is lawsone. In simple terms, this pigment attaches to the keratin on the outer part of the hair, creating a translucent colour layer rather than working like an oxidative dye. Because of that, the final shade depends on your starting hair colour, how long the paste stays on, and how warm the mixture is during application. On lighter hair it can look golden, coppery or auburn; on darker hair it usually gives warm chestnut reflections and richer depth. This is also why henna often makes hair look glossier: the colour coating smooths the surface and helps light reflect more evenly.
The addition of Dead Sea minerals makes this version more interesting than plain henna powder alone. Mineral salts such as magnesium, calcium and potassium are valued in hair masks and scalp products because they can help the hair feel less rough after rinsing and leave it looking more polished. In practice, this means the colouring session can also act like a conditioning ritual, especially for hair that looks dull, porous or tired after frequent styling.
This herbal hair dye can suit those who want to:
As with any botanical colourant, results are individual and build differently from synthetic dyes, so it is wise to strand-test first. If you have very light, bleached, damaged or chemically processed hair, or a sensitive scalp, patch-test in advance and proceed carefully, since plant pigments and mineral salts can give a stronger or less predictable result on porous hair.
