SHAGUN GOLD is a powder made from finely milled Lawsonia inermis leaves, so the colour comes from henna pigment released when the powder is mixed into a paste. It works differently from oxidative hair dye: it does not first strip or lift your natural colour. Instead, the pigment binds mainly to the outer layer of the hair shaft and creates a translucent warm veil.
If your hair has been bleached, heavily processed or chemically dyed, test SHAGUN GOLD on a small hidden strand before a full application. Henna creates colour by depositing plant pigment on the hair surface, and processed hair can be more porous, so it may absorb colour faster or more unevenly than untreated hair.
The pack contains 25 g of powdered henna. How far that goes depends on your hair: short or fine hair needs less paste, while thick, long or very dense hair may require more than one pack for full, even coverage. If you are only refreshing a small area, testing a strand, or working on short hair, you may not need to prepare the entire contents at once.
