Shuster Dragon Eye Bilberry Balsam is a liquid food supplement syrup from the Shuster range, providing a concentrated blend of dry botanical extracts — bilberry, rosehip, ginger, peppermint and thyme — combined with collagen, vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and natural bilberry flavour in a ready-to-drink or dilutable sweet syrup format. Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) is a wild European shrub berry closely related to blueberry, which is among the richest known dietary sources of anthocyanins — notably delphinidin, cyanidin, peonidin, petunidin and malvidin glycosides — as well as vitamins C and E, manganese and dietary fibre. Rosehip (Rosa canina) provides one of the highest concentrations of vitamin C among commonly available natural foods, along with carotenoids (especially lycopene and beta-carotene) and flavonoids. Ginger root (Zingiber officinale) adds its characteristic warming aromatic note with gingerols and shogaols. Peppermint (Mentha piperita) provides a refreshing menthol-cool note. Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) contributes its complex of thymol and carvacrol phenols. The syrup can be consumed directly or added to tea, coffee, juice or sparkling water.
