The toothpaste contains herbal extracts and vitamins to support the cosmetic cleansing, conditioning and freshening of the teeth and gums of children. The formula is flavoured with a pleasant, child-friendly juicy apple taste, making brushing an enjoyable routine rather than a chore. The formula effectively removes dental plaque from the tooth surface and provides freshness. The formula has been confirmed safe if accidentally swallowed during brushing. 50 ml tube.

The “6+” mark is linked to the features of oral development at this age. From about six years old, children start actively changing teeth: milk teeth gradually fall out and permanent ones erupt in their place. During this period the gums can be more sensitive, and the brushing itself calls for care — flavours that are too sharp or coarse abrasives can cause discomfort and put the child off brushing regularly.
On the label the paste is described as Dental Pro Kids children's toothpaste with apple flavour for children aged 6 and over. Its main job is to clean the tooth surface of plaque; the manufacturer also notes that the paste freshens breath, and its texture is gel-like and pleasant.
Children's toothpastes, this one included, are developed on the assumption that a child may accidentally swallow a small amount. Even so, regularly swallowing the paste is undesirable: it's intended for the mouth, not the digestive tract, and its components aren't designed to get inside on a systematic basis.
