Plant peptides — bioactive nitrogen-containing short-chain amino acid sequences derived from botanical sources — stimulate the skin's own collagen synthesis pathways, contributing to firmer, more youthful-looking skin with prolonged use. Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid or a stabilised ascorbyl ester) is a powerful antioxidant with a well-established role in the skin's collagen synthesis enzyme system; topical vitamin C contributes to an even, luminous skin tone, neutralises free radical damage and provides a mild brightening effect. Hyaluronic acid, a high-molecular-weight glycosaminoglycan polysaccharide, provides intensive hydration at the epidermal surface level, maintaining a plump, well-moisturised skin appearance throughout the day. SPF 15 broad-spectrum sunscreen filters provide effective everyday photoprotection against UV-induced skin damage and premature photo-ageing.
