Victoria Beauty Day Cream-Concentrate with Snail Extract is a multifunctional cosmetic face cream from the Victoria Beauty range by Rubella Beauty (Bulgaria), formulated with snail secretion filtrate (snail extract) as the principal bioactive ingredient for a comprehensive skin-regenerating, deeply moisturising and skin-conditioning cosmetic treatment. Snail secretion filtrate (snail slime, helix aspersa secretion filtrate) is the mucous secretion produced by garden snails (Helix aspersa, Cornu aspersum) and is one of the most bioactively complex natural cosmetic ingredients available: it contains glycoprotein enzymes, collagen fractions, glycosaminoglycans (hyaluronic acid oligomers), soluble elastin peptides and allantoin. This natural composition provides a unique combination of humectant moisturisation (from glycosaminoglycans), skin-surface protein conditioning (from collagen and elastin peptides) and skin-soothing properties (from allantoin, which is a well-characterised cosmeceutical compound that promotes skin cell turnover and provides wound healing support in topical preparations). The "concentrate" formulation delivers a higher-than-standard percentage of snail filtrate to provide an intensive cosmetic treatment effect. Suitable for all skin types.
