The cream-balm works more effectively if the skin has been prepared beforehand. The best moment to apply it is after a hot foot bath: the softened horny layer becomes looser and takes up the softening components better.
The cream-balm is intended for the care of hardened, dry skin on the feet — corns and calluses. It is not recommended for damaged areas: open cracks, small wounds, or areas with marked inflammation or irritation.
Corns and calluses are the skin's protective reaction to constant mechanical stress: friction and pressure. As long as the source of the load remains, the skin will keep thickening — this is its natural way of protecting itself from damage.
