Charcoal Black Peel-Off Face Mask for Blackhead Removal from the "Coal Proff" series is a cosmetic peel-off face mask formulated with birch activated charcoal, natural egg white protein and citric acid, for the deep cosmetic cleansing and care of oily and combination skin types prone to blackheads (open comedones) and excess sebum. Birch activated charcoal is a highly porous, highly adsorptive material produced from birch wood through high-temperature activation; in cosmetics, its enormous surface area provides effective adsorption of excess sebum, surface impurities, environmental pollutants and residues from the pore openings. The peel-off mechanism allows the film to physically pull away loosened surface plugs and impurities from the pores as it is peeled off, contributing to visibly cleaner-looking pores. Natural egg white protein (albumin) provides a firming, tightening sensation as the mask dries, contributes to a temporary cosmetic smoothing effect on the skin surface, and nourishes the skin. Citric acid (alpha-hydroxy acid) acts as a mild chemical exfoliant on the skin surface, contributing to a brighter, more even-toned skin appearance.
