Will this mask permanently remove blackheads and shrink pores?

This mask works by binding surface oil, dead skin cells, and pollution particles as it dries into a film. When peeled away, it mechanically lifts that loosened material from the pore openings. The result is visibly clearer pores and a smoother feel immediately after use — but the effect is temporary.

Blackheads (open comedones) are oxidised sebum and keratin deep in the follicle. A peel-off mask can remove the visible tip, but it doesn't dissolve the plug at its base. Without consistent gentle exfoliation (salicylic acid is the gold standard for pore lining) and sebum regulation, the blackhead reforms within days to weeks.

Pore size is genetically determined and influenced by collagen loss, sun damage, and chronic congestion. The egg white protein creates a temporary tightening sensation and optical smoothing as it dries, but it doesn't structurally change the pore.
