Marina Lupen Cosmetic Ozokerite is a natural mineral wax used for cosmetic thermotherapy (heat treatment) applications. Ozokerite — also known as earth wax or mineral wax — is a naturally occurring hydrocarbon wax mineral extracted from sedimentary deposits. Like cosmetic paraffin, it has a high heat capacity and low thermal conductivity, meaning it retains warmth for a long time after application, providing a sustained warming effect on the skin. Unlike paraffin, ozokerite contains naturally occurring biologically active compounds that contribute additional skin-conditioning properties during cosmetic heat treatments.
A warm ozokerite compress applied to the skin has a traditional use in Eastern European spa and physiotherapy practices as a cosmetic skin-warming treatment. The deep, sustained heat from the wax provides a particularly effective warming experience. The cosmetic effect includes skin moisturising, smoothing, and a gentle cosmetic detoxification effect on the skin surface. 250 g block with added fragrance.
NET QUANTITY: 250 g (block)
INGREDIENTS (INCI): Ozokerite, Parfum.
USE: Melt the ozokerite in a heat-safe bowl until it forms a viscous, pourable mass. Line the bowl with a cotton cloth. Pour the melted ozokerite in a layer of 1–3 cm. Allow to cool to 40–45 °C (check temperature before applying to skin). Apply to the skin as a warm compress; wrap with a polyethylene film and woollen cloth. Leave for 1–2 hours until fully cooled. Remove carefully.
WARNINGS: For external cosmetic use only. Always check the temperature before applying to skin — do not apply above 48 °C to avoid burns. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Not for use on broken, damaged or irritated skin. Not for use over blood vessels, varicose veins or inflamed areas. Keep out of reach of children. Flammable — melt with care, away from open flame.

Rubella Beauty Marina Lupen Cosmetic Ozokerite 250 g is a cosmetic mineral wax used for warm body applications. People usually choose ozokerite when they want a long-lasting warming effect on areas such as muscles, joints, hands, feet or other parts of the body that feel tense, stiff or exposed to cold. In beauty and spa practice, this type of thermotherapy is valued because the heat is released slowly and evenly, so the skin warms up gradually rather than being exposed to a short burst of high temperature.
Ozokerite is also known as earth wax — a naturally occurring hydrocarbon wax from mineral deposits. Its main advantage is the way it holds heat: it can store a lot of warmth, yet gives it back to the skin relatively slowly. This creates a deep, sustained warming sensation that helps soften the surface layer of the skin and may make the applied area feel more supple. As the warm wax layer sits on the skin, it also forms an occlusive film, which reduces water loss from the surface — which is why the skin often feels smoother and softer after the procedure.
Compared with standard cosmetic paraffin, ozokerite is traditionally appreciated not only for heat retention but also for its mineral origin. In Eastern European spa and physiotherapy traditions, warm ozokerite compresses have long been used as a local warming method before rest, massage or home body procedures. This product can fit well into an evening body ritual, after time outdoors in cold weather, or whenever you want prolonged warmth for a specific area without using a strongly active cream or gel.
The format is simple: a solid 250 g block that is melted and then allowed to cool to a skin-safe temperature before application. This makes the warmth more controlled than with many instant heating methods.
